I will be better at blogging!!!!

Okay - it has been over 2 weeks - but the holidays have been crazy.  I am vowing to be more consistent in the new year (at least 3 times a week is my goal).  Anyways - we made it through the holidays - unfortunately my whole family has been passing around a nasty stomach virus - I think Ryan is the only one who didn't get it :)  Today was Ryan's 2nd birthday - I can't believe how fast he is growing up!!!  Because alot of our family is sick - we postponed his party until next weekend.  I decided to take him to McDonald's for birthday lunch though & then to the park which he LOVED!!  It was 66 degrees here today - crazy but so perfect for a day at the park :)  Check out my cutie pie!!

O Christmas Tree . . .

So last night we headed over to our local nursery to find our Christmas tree.  Ryan spent the majority of the time running up & down the steps - but I did manage to get one good shot :)

I wanted to share my DT work from my guest design team member position at My Creative Scrapbook.  The kit contained My Mind's Eye holiday papers & lots of fun embellishments. Below are my 2 layouts:

Also, I have been super fortunate to have won the Bella Blvd. Fall Family Fun Layout contest.  I am so excited - I received my package of goodies the other day and WOW is all I can say.  In the package were complete sets of both of their paper lines Family Tree & Pack Your Bags - check them out here.  Such awesome products!!  As if that wasn't enough - I also received the November monthly kit from one of their contest sponsors - The Scrap Room - and a gift card to my favorite scrapbook store - A Cherry On Top.  Thank you, thank you, thank you Bella Blvd. !!

Tomorrow we are heading out to Justin's work party - a little night off from parenthood :)  I'm hoping to sneak a little scrappin' time in the next few mornings before Ryan wakes up - it is going to be such a busy weekend & I need to get the sketch & sample done for 52 Sketches . . . 52 Weeks.  Have a wonderful Thursday!!

A New Beginning

I have spent all evening creating this new blog with a Digital Blog Kit from The Sweet Shoppe. They included WONDERFUL step-by-step directions to help me figure out the coding & tada - here it is!!! I wanted to start off this blog with some new, fun projects I worked on for Scrapbook Sussies.  Their Decemeber kit is so awesome - papers by October Afternoon & SEI - loved it!!
